Create a contour line drawing of still life, or portrait..

Once your contour lines have been established, use watercolor washes to create color and texture. Also, feel free to use a prepared background. I'm including a bunch of contour line examples to show you different styles.

DUE THURSDAY 9/3: Sketched out plan for this project Due this Thursday. You should have at least a visual idea where you want to go for this project. Insert a photo of the sketch in your portfolio slideshow in the assignment 2 slide.  Submit your progress HERE.

DEFINITION: A blind contour drawing is a line drawing that is created without the use of constantly looking at the paper. Instead, one concentrates intensely on the item that they are drawing and tries to draw the many shifts of lines and tangents of lines seen.
