The goal of this activity is to practice painting imagery that has reflective qualities in the subject matter. This will help you gain a painterly quality to your work.

Supplies you will need

 

Newspaper to cover your painting area

1/2 sheet of white paper

Acrylic paint

styrofoam plate for a painter's pallet

brushes and water

 paper towel

You may follow along with Menge on this activity with the same painting or you may challenge yourself further by using one of the other practices in the next section.
