α3 Project Management
Introduction
Almost no engineering project can be completed by one person alone. Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing, motivating, utilizing resources to achieve specific goals. Much of your success in this class (as in industry) will depend on your ability to work well on a team, your organizational skills, and you commitment to working as a professional meeting critical benchmarks in the engineering design process. These are all important parts of project management.
Engineering design projects are typically peer reviewed. Stakeholder feedback and design reviews help guide engineers through the design process.
