Directions

  1. Work with your partner on the presentation part of the Biome Research Project. 
  2. Prepare a 3-5 minute presentation for your classmates.
  3. Be sure that both members of your team get a chance to speak.
  4. Review the assignment sheet and address all of the elements of the assignment:
  • Discuss where the biome is located on Earth. 
  • Share the closest location of the biome to our college.
  • Talk about the biotic (living) factors including animal and plant life.
  • Present about the abiotic (nonliving) factors such as climate, land form, etc.
  • Describe how the biome impacts humans.
  • Describe how humans impact the biome
  • 2 other pieces of information you want to share
  • Define 3 new vocabulary words that you discovered in your research.
  • Don't forget to cite at least 3 sources in your presentation. You will need to bring a Works Cited in MLA format.
  • You will submit this assignment by attending class and doing your presentation.
